Charcadet and Ceruledge are a unique set of Pokemon that you can catch while playing Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. The starter Pokemon, Charcadet, is a rare Pokemon that you can track down, and if you have the Violet version, it evolves into Ceruledge.

What makes Charcadet unique is that while it appears in Scarlet and Violet versions of Pokemon, it has different evolutions. For Violet, it’s going to appear as Ceruledge, and it’s going to be a Ghost and Fire-type Pokemon. There are some important things you’ll want to focus on when it comes to picking an ideal nature. Here’s what you need to know about the best nature for Charcadet and Ceruledge in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

What is the best nature for Charcadet and Ceruledge?

The best nature you could pick for Charcadet will be Adamant or Jolly in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. These are my preferred natures because, when it evolves, Ceruledge is primarily a Physical attacker, and you want to keep this in mind before you evolve the Charcadet you want to use.

Unfortunately, when you evolve your Charcadet into a Ceruledge, it will have 75 HP, with 80 Defense and 100 Special Defense. These are not stats you can take but are not the worst things in the world. What makes Ceruledge shine is the 125 Attack it has, but it does stagger with an 85 Speed. Thankfully, you can boost this with the Jolly. However, if you’d prefer to focus on Ceruledge’s Attack, go with Adamant, which boosts its Attack, but lowers the Special Attack.

Ceruledge’sce, I usually lean towards using Adamant. I’d rather Ceruledge hit hard against my opponent than be the first to hit. I’ll never have Ceruledge as the starting Pokemon in my line-up, and I’ll lean on it. It’s a positive character that can help weed out weaknesses against the person I’m battling against.

There are two ability options you can pick for Ceruledge: Flash Fire and Weak Armor. Flash Fire can be used to gain a free 50% bonus to Ceruledge’s Fire attacks if you swap it in on an enemy Fire attack, while Weak Armor can sacrifice Defense to increase Ceruledge’s slightly below average Speed to more reliable lO’els (if it gets hit by a physical move, at least.) The choice is yours.

The Fire Blades Pokemon also enjoys a wide selection of beneficial physical moves. Bitter Blade, Psycho Cut, Swords Dance, Will O’ Wisp, Shadow Sneak, Solar Blade, Swords Dance, Dragon Claw, Close Combat, Poison Jab, X-Scissor, Shadow Claw, Iron Head, and Phantom Force allow you to build Ceruledge to fit your needs any which way. Our recommended set is Bitter Blade, Swords Dance, Phantom Force, and Close Combat to give you an offensive option against Dark types.
